Collection: Sirdar Snuggly Cotton

Sirdar Snuggly Cotton is a 100% cotton yarn from Sirdar, made in Turkey and sold in 50g balls of 106m. It knits to a tension of 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4in), so it slots neatly into a good number of Sirdar's baby and childrenswear patterns as well as plenty of stitch dictionaries and older favourites.

Being all cotton, it has a smooth, cool handle and a little weight to it, which suits summer cardigans, cot blankets, sun hats and small toys — anything likely to need frequent washing. It also shows textured stitches and simple cables clearly, if you like a bit of definition in your knitting.
