Collection: Sirdar Snuggly DK

Sirdar Snuggly DK is Sirdar's long-standing double knitting yarn for babies and small children, blended from 55% nylon and 45% acrylic. Each 50g ball holds 165m and knits to a tension of 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4in), so it works with the great many DK baby patterns already in circulation.

The blend is machine-washable and hard-wearing, which matters for matinee coats, cardigans, blanket squares, bonnets and first jumpers that will be worn and washed often. It is spun in Turkey. Being a standard DK, it also suits toys, bootees and anything else where a soft, everyday yarn is wanted.

We stock the range in 26 shades, including Happy Hippo, Rice Pudding and Pastel Blue, with pale and deeper tones alongside the traditional creams and pinks.
