Collection: MODE at Rowan Alpaca Wool

MODE at Rowan Alpaca Wool is part of Rowan's MODE collection, a blend of wool and alpaca that we keep on the shelves here in Ledbury. The alpaca gives the yarn its softness and a gentle halo, while the wool lends body and helps stitches hold their shape, so cables and textured panels stay clear rather than sagging.

There are 13 shades in the range, mostly quiet naturals and greys that sit well together for colourwork or plain stocking stitch. Quartz, Carbon and Walnut give an idea of the palette, alongside softer tones and a few deeper, cooler shades.

It suits jumpers, cardigans, hats, cowls and wraps — anything worn close to the skin where a little warmth without weight is welcome.
