Collection: King Cole Chunky Tweed

King Cole Chunky Tweed is a chunky-weight yarn from King Cole, spun as 72% premium acrylic, 25% wool and 3% viscose with flecks running through the shade. Each ball is 100g and gives 138m, which goes a long way on a chunky project, and the wool content adds a little warmth and body to the finished fabric.

It is worked on 6mm needles at a tension of 14 stitches and 20 rows to 10x10cm. That makes it a straightforward choice for jumpers and cardigans, hats, scarves, cowls and blankets, and it is easy going for anyone moving up from double knitting for the first time.

There are 17 shades in the range, including Shetland, Lewis and North Uist, with names such as Cairngorm, Islay and Orkney across the rest of the palette. The range is in stock at our shop in Ledbury and available to order online, with free UK delivery on orders over £50.
