Sirdar Snuggly Chunky is a chunky-weight baby yarn from Sirdar, blending 55% nylon with 45% acrylic. Each ball is a generous 100g and gives 165m, so a blanket or cardigan needs fewer balls than you might expect. The stated tension is 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4").

Being machine washable and hard-wearing, it suits pram blankets, jackets, hats and bootees, and anything else that will be worn, dribbled on and washed again the same week. The chunky weight knits up quickly, which makes it a sensible choice for a last-minute new baby gift or a first project for someone learning.
