Collection: Rico Design Super Kid Mohair Silk

Rico Design Super Kid Mohair Silk is a fine mohair and silk yarn from Rico Design, and one we keep on the shelves for anyone who likes a light, airy fabric. It knits to a tension of 23 stitches and 30 rows to 10x10cm, so it sits in the finer end of the range and works up into shawls, wraps, lacy cardigans and soft-collared jumpers.

Mohair and silk together give a yarn with a gentle halo and a quiet sheen, and it is also useful held alongside another yarn to add warmth and a little haze without much extra weight. Because the fabric blooms a good deal after blocking, it is worth working a swatch before you cast on.
