Collection: MODE at Rowan Alpaca Haze

MODE at Rowan Alpaca Haze is part of Rowan's MODE collection, and it is an alpaca yarn that we keep on the shelves here in Ledbury. Alpaca gives a soft, gently hazy fabric with a good drape, so it suits garments and accessories where you want warmth without a lot of weight, and it takes simple stocking stitch and easy textured patterns well.

There are eleven shades in the range, among them Mink, Navy and Silver, so there is scope for plain pieces as well as colourwork or stripes worked across a few tones. If you are not sure which shade will suit a project, do come in and hold a few together in daylight, or ask us and we will describe them as honestly as we can.
