King Cole Pricewise DK is a straightforward double knitting yarn from King Cole, made in 100% acrylic. Each ball is a generous 100g with 282m, knitted on 4mm needles to a tension of 22 stitches and 28 rows over 10x10cm. That combination of standard DK tension and a big ball makes it useful for larger projects where you would rather not join in new yarn every few rows.

It suits jumpers and cardigans for all ages, blankets and throws, children's garments, hats and simple accessories, and it is a sensible choice for charity knitting and workshop projects. Being machine washable acrylic, it stands up well to everyday wear and frequent laundering.

There are 28 shades to choose from, including Royal, Baby Pink and Aubergine, with plenty of brights and softer tones alongside.
