Collection: King Cole Cottagespun Chunky

King Cole Cottagespun Chunky is a 100% acrylic chunky yarn that comes in generous 150g balls, each holding 246m. It is worked on 6mm needles at a tension of 14 stitches and 20 rows to 10x10cm, so a jumper or blanket grows quickly without becoming heavy to handle.

The chunky weight and easy-care fibre make it a sensible choice for winter hats, scarves, cowls, cardigans and throws, as well as for charity knitting and anything that needs frequent washing. With 246m per ball, larger projects need fewer balls than you might expect, which keeps things simple when planning.
