King Cole Luxury Merino DK is a 100% Merino Superwash double knitting yarn, and one we keep on the shelves year round. Each 50g ball holds 140m and works up on 4mm needles at a tension of 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10x10cm, so it slots straight into most standard DK patterns without any recalculating.

Being superwash merino, it is a sensible choice for jumpers and cardigans that will be worn often, as well as baby knits, hats, mittens and colourwork where a smooth, even stitch matters. The DK weight suits accessories and garments alike, and the yardage per ball makes it straightforward to plan a larger project.
