King Cole Homespun Aran is an aran weight yarn from King Cole, with 110m per ball. It knits on 5mm needles to a tension of 18 stitches and 25 rows over 10cm, which puts it squarely in standard aran territory — handy if you are working from an older pattern or substituting for something in your stash.

Aran weight at this tension grows quickly, so it suits jumpers and cardigans, hats, mittens, blankets and cushion covers. The 5mm needle size makes it a comfortable choice for anyone still finding their rhythm, and it is forgiving enough for colourwork and simple cables.
