Collection: Rowan Alpaca Classic

Rowan Alpaca Classic is a yarn range we keep on the shelves here at Homend Haberdashery, and one we come back to ourselves when a project calls for something with a soft, quiet character. There are eight shades in the collection, including Feather Grey Melange, Charcoal Melange and Verdigris, alongside deeper and warmer options such as Eclipse, Forest and Toffee, plus Snowflake White and Elephant Grey Melange.

The melange shades have a gentle depth to them that suits plain stocking stitch and simple garments, where the colour itself does the work. The solid shades hold stitch pattern well, so they are worth considering for cables, textured panels or colourwork alongside the greys.
