Collection: Sirdar Snuggly 4 Ply

Sirdar Snuggly 4 Ply is a long-standing favourite from Sirdar, and one we keep on the shelves year round. It is a 4 ply yarn, with 226m to the ball, knitting to a tension of 28 stitches and 36 rows to 10cm (4 inches).

At this weight it suits baby and childrenswear: matinee coats, shawls, bonnets, cardigans and christening pieces, along with fine socks and lightweight accessories. The generous length per ball means small garments often need only a couple of balls, and the smooth stitch definition shows off lace panels and cable work well.

We currently have seven shades in the range, including Honey, Denim and Cub, so there is scope for colourwork trims and stripes as well as plain knitting.
