Sirdar Loveful 100% Recycled Acrylic DK is a double knitting yarn made entirely from recycled acrylic, and it comes to us in generous 100g balls. As a DK weight it sits in the middle of the range and covers most of the everyday knitting and crochet we're asked about in the shop: jumpers and cardigans, hats, blankets, toys and children's things.

There are 14 shades in the range, including Mist, Moss and Dusk, with warmer tones such as Flame, Ochre and Terracotta alongside quieter greys and blues like Cloud, Sky and Charcoal. The 100g put-up means fewer joins across a blanket or a plain-bodied sweater, and the shades work well together if you fancy stripes or colourwork.
