Sirdar Loveful 100% Recycled Tweed Blend DK is a double knitting yarn from Sirdar, made from a recycled tweed blend and wound into 100g balls. The tweedy flecks give a gently marled surface that lifts plain stocking stitch, and there is enough yardage in a single ball to make good progress on a sleeve or a hat before you need to join in the next one.

As a DK, it sits in the middle of the weight range and suits the everyday things we knit most: jumpers and cardigans, accessories, blankets and children's garments. The flecked colour also works well with simple textured stitches, cables and basic colourwork, where a busier pattern would be lost.

There are 12 shades in the range, including Birch, Pool and Bracken, so there is scope for pairing plainer neutrals with something brighter. The range is in stock at our shop in Ledbury and online, with free UK delivery on orders over £50.
