Collection: Hayfield Spirit Chunky

Hayfield Spirit Chunky from Sirdar is a chunky-weight yarn in a blend of 80% acrylic and 20% wool, sold in generous 100g balls. The wool content gives it a little warmth and bounce, while the acrylic keeps things hard-wearing and easy to wash — handy for garments and accessories that get plenty of use.

Being a chunky, it knits up quickly, so it suits jumpers and cardigans, hats, scarves, cowls and blankets, as well as beginners' projects where seeing progress helps. The 100g ball size means fewer joins across a large piece such as a throw. It is spun in Turkey.
