Collection: Sirdar Jewelspun Aran

Sirdar Jewelspun Aran is an aran weight yarn from Sirdar, made in India from 100% acrylic. It comes in generous 200g balls, each holding 500m, so a jumper or blanket can often be worked from just a few balls rather than a basketful. The stated tension is 18 stitches and 24 rows to 10cm (4").

Being an easy-care acrylic at an aran weight, it works well for garments that get worn hard and washed often, and for household knits and crochet such as throws, cushions and blankets. The subtle heathered colouring gives plain stocking stitch and simple textured patterns something extra to look at.
