King Cole Riot DK is a self-striping double knitting yarn from King Cole, blending 30% wool with 70% premium acrylic. It comes in generous 100g balls, each holding 134m, and is worked on 6mm needles at a tension of 14 stitches and 20 rows to 10x10cm. The colour changes happen on their own as you knit, so plain stocking stitch and simple garter rows do most of the work for you.

The wool content gives it a little warmth and body, while the acrylic keeps things easy to wash, which makes it a sensible choice for blankets, scarves, hats and jumpers that get everyday wear.
