Collection: King Cole Glitz DK

King Cole Glitz DK is a double knitting yarn from King Cole with a fine metallic thread running through it. It is made from 97% premium acrylic and 3% polyester, and comes in generous 100g balls giving 290m, so there is plenty in a ball for a garment or a larger accessory without a long list of skeins to buy.

It is knitted on 4mm needles to a tension of 22 stitches and 28 rows over 10x10cm, which puts it in step with most standard DK patterns. The sparkle is subtle rather than showy, so it works well for party cardigans, children's dresses, evening wraps and hats and mitts that need a little lift. Being machine-washable acrylic, it suits gifts and things that will be worn often.
