Collection: King Cole Firefly Aran

King Cole Firefly Aran is an aran-weight yarn from King Cole, blending 65% polyester with 35% acrylic. Each 100g ball holds 200m, and it is worked on 5mm needles at a tension of 18 stitches and 25 rows to 10x10cm.

The aran weight makes short work of jumpers, cardigans, hats and scarves, and it holds cables and textured stitch patterns well. Being a synthetic blend, it is easy to wash and hard-wearing, which suits children's garments, blankets and anything likely to see regular use. The polyester content gives the yarn a subtle sheen that shifts as the fabric moves.
