King Cole Curiosity DK is a self-striping double knitting yarn from King Cole, and we have the range in stock at our shop in Ledbury, with free UK delivery on orders over £50. Each ball holds a generous 480m, so a single ball goes a long way and the colour sequence has room to develop as you knit.

The stated tension is 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10x10cm, which puts it in familiar DK territory for anyone working from a standard double knitting pattern. It suits shawls, scarves, hats, socks and simple stocking stitch jumpers where the colour changes do the decorative work for you, with no need to join in new shades or carry yarns up the side.
