Collection: King Cole Big Value Super Chunky Tweed

King Cole Big Value Super Chunky Tweed is a super chunky yarn with a flecked tweed effect, spun from 98% Premium Acrylic and 2% Viscose. Each ball weighs 100g and gives 81m, worked on 10mm needles at a tension of 10 stitches and 14 rows to 10x10cm.

At this weight the knitting grows quickly, so it suits big cardigans and jumpers, hats, scarves, cowls, blankets and cushion covers. The small amount of viscose carries the tweedy flecks through the yarn, which breaks up plain stocking stitch and simple garter or rib patterns nicely. Being machine washable acrylic, it is a sensible choice for gifts and things that get heavy use.
