Rowan Sock Yarn Jewel

Rowan Sock Yarn Jewel is a lovely 4-ply blend of 75% wool and 25% polyamide that's absolutely brilliant for socks, of course, but also works beautifully for baby clothes and lightweight jumpers. The polyamide gives it that extra bit of strength and bounce that makes it so hard-wearing, whilst the wool keeps it wonderfully soft and warm. With 400 metres in each ball, you've got plenty of yarn to work with, and the gorgeous jewel tones add a real sparkle to whatever you're making. It knits up beautifully on 2.5mm needles and is surprisingly forgiving for newer knitters too.
