Rico Cotton 50g 601

Rico Cotton is a 100% cotton yarn, mercerised and gassed to give it a beautifully smooth, even surface and excellent durability. Each 50 g ball carries 125 metres, and the yarn knits up best on 2.5-3.5 mm needles or a comparable crochet hook. With a tension of 26 stitches and 36 rows to 10 cm, it sits comfortably in the 4-ply to light DK range, making it a reliable choice wherever a crisp, well-defined stitch is needed.

Its dimensional stability makes it well suited to summer tops, baby garments, dishcloths, market bags, and neat accessories where the fabric needs to hold its shape wash after wash.
